The main objective of restrictions is to reduce the number of infected and people mobility, government's parliamentary secretary Beka Dochviri said.
In Dochviri's words, the most effective anti-epidemic measures are a drop in mobility, wearing face masks, keeping a safe distance, and hygiene.
"These regulations will be effective from 28 November to 31 January, and after 31 January, we will be enabled to assess the consequences of the said regulations and restrictions," Beka Dochviri said.
Following the decision of the Inter-Agency Coordination Council, Georgia-wide restrictions will be stiffened from 28 November.
