Nino Lomjaria, the Public Defender of Georgia demands an investigation into allegations made by clergymen.
According to the Ombudsman, she has already appealed to the relevant authorities to launch investigation.
“I would like to publicly address both the authors of the statement and information holders to contact the Public Defender's Office to help us gather as much information as possible and check it. In the course of the study, the privacy of applicants will be ensured upon request", the Ombudsman said.
