Tbilisi Metro stops working

"According to the new regulations to prevent the spread of the coronavirus, the Tbilisi Metro will be closed from November 28 to December 23," the Coordinating Council will take the following measures to stabilize the epidemic:

From November 28 to December 31, municipal transport, including Tbilisi Metro, will not work in large cities, particularly Tbilisi, Kutaisi, Batumi, Rustavi, Zugdidi.

Besides, from December 24 to January 2, restrictions will begin to ease, and municipal transport will work by limiting the number of passengers.

January 3 - January 15, all restrictions that were in effect from November 28 to December 24 will restore.

In the period from January 16 to January 31, municipal transport will operate except for weekends.

The Interagency Coordinating Council headed by the Prime Minister decided today to tighten and expand the existing restrictions in the country.
