Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi’s sister arrested

Turkish authorities have arrested the sister of the former leader of the Islamic State, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi. Associated Press and Reuters reported.

65-year-old Rasmiya Awad was arrested in the northern city of Syria.

Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi's sister reportedly was with her husband, 5 children and a daughter-in-law.

The information about the liquidation of the leader of Islamic State was released on October 27.

Special operations were carried out in the northern part of Syria, in the Province of Idlib.
