Armenian Prime Minister calls Security Council session

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has conducted a special session of the Security Council, local media outlets report.

At the session, the current situation at the Azerbaijan-Armenia border was reportedly discussed. The Armenian leader, chairperson of the parliament, and other high officials were also present at the meeting along with the members of the Security Council.

On 27 September, tensions rose at the Azerbaijan-Armenia border, with attacks carried out and deaths reported.
