Bernie Sanders, USA Senator, has presented a plan according to which all citizens of the country must have easy access and affordable prices for the internet. The budget is 150 billion dollars.
According to the plan, big media and telecommunication corporations have to regulate the market. Based on the Senator, access to the internet has to be viewed as a fundamental right human.
“President Roosevelt managed to create the equal environment for all people. He wired electricity to each farm and each family 80 years ago. I, as a President, will do the same. I will provide the internet of a high speed adapted to each citizen”, - said Bernie Sanders.
Several programs are working on the provision of internet access in the USA. Politicians are actively using the issue for their agenda.
