The idea of the flying automobile is no longer the issue of Sky-Fi. Based in Japan, SkyDrive company has conducted a public demonstration flight of its new flying car (SD-03) model. The presentation flight was organized in Toyota Test Field. The video of the test placed on YouTube became popular immediately. It collected over a million views in three days. The automobile developers say that they accumulated around 40 million dollars in their funds.
SkyDrive's goal is to obtain the license for flying beyond the Test Field.
SD-03 was flying over the territory for four minutes. It was ruled by a remote pilot that was meant to react if the pilot driving the automobile needed help.

It occupies two parking places of ordinary cars.
It has eight engines located in its corners. It has two white lightings in front, and one red from below. According to the concept, it drives two people. The tested automobile has a single seat.
The automobile can move at 60 km/hour maximum speed. One charge lasts around 30 kilometers. It is ultimately energy effective and ecologically friendly.
SkyDrive plans mass production to start in 2023. The price was not named yet. The company plans to produce the driverless car by 2030.
