A 4-year-old child was injured in a blast caused by pyrotechnics in Tbilisi.
According to Guga Kashibadze, the Head of the Khechinashvili University Hospital Burn Center the 4-year-old boy's right side and eyelids were injured, though the wound is not deep and the child's condition is satisfactory.
The patient will continue treatment at home.
Kashibadze urges the population to be cautious, as this was the first case of New Year pyrotechnics damage this year but on holidays, the number of casualties is expected to grow.
