Five militants of the Georgian contingent's rapid response unit were slightly injured in the attack on the Bagram Air Base in Afghanistan. The Ministry of Defense of Georgia released the statement.

"The 12th Battalion soldiers, Corporals Gocha Muradashvili, Soso Kvinikadze, and Roman Gununashvili, Private Ilia Takadze and Senior Sergeant David Bakhurauli health condition is stable, and their hospitalization was not necessary. Despite minor injuries, they continue to engage in terrorist cleansing and liquidation operations alongside coalition forces".

The extremists have installed two explosives in two vehicles at Bagram Air Base in Afghanistan, near NATO convoy. The blast killed one person and wounded 62.
