The Georgian sailor having been abducted by pirates have reportedly been freed, according to the Maritime Transport Agency of Georgia.

In West Africa, the Togolese Republic, pirates attacked and hijacked a ship sailing under a Greek flag. As Greece media outlets reported, the pirates held their victims, one Georgian, one Greek citizen and two Philipinos in hostage. One of the crew members was reportedly wounded.
