Advice for the public - Inter-Agency Coordination Council

The Inter-Agency Coordination Council appeals to citizens and organizations to follow health workers' and specialists' recommendations, wear face masks, observe social distancing rules, and work remotely.

The Coordination Council also calls upon senior citizens to avoid leaving home unless they face an urgent need for doing so.

They also advise citizens to wear face masks in open areas since, for the time being, it is deemed the best tool against the virus.

Georgia has so far recorded 12,272 coronavirus cases, 6,538 recoveries, and 93 deaths.
