Starting from May 29, all types of municipal transport will be resumed. The Prime Minister of Georgia Giorgi Gakharia stated about it at the sitting of the Coordination Council.
According to him, it will be necessary to wear a mask during the trip. The relevant services will control it.
"Today, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention provided the results of a study that confirms that the scale of the internal spread of infection in the country is very small, and the risks are reduced.
We still have to defeat the virus, and we must adhere to basic safety standards, such as masks, social distance, and basic hygiene rules. Despite all mentioned above and taking into account our citizens' economic and social interests, we decided that from May 29, all types of municipal transport will start working, following specific rules," Gakharia said.
