An alleged case of the Indian variant of coronavirus is being studied in Georgia, NCDC Head Amiran Gamkrelidze stated.
In his words, an examination is underway at Lugar Laboratory.
Specialists have not detected the study results yet.
“The study is underway, but no results are reported… latest forecast says that the UK variant may be replaced by the Indian one gradually in Europe,’’ Amiran Gamkrelidze told Rustavi 2 TV.
