"We have a seriously deteriorating epidemic situation; the risks are certainly very high. So, again, the only way out is to follow the recommendations," says the head of the National Center for Disease Control, Amiran Gamkrelidze.
"Please spread the word so that everyone wears masks indoors. If five people gather, they must wear masks. Don't wear them when you are in the forest or walking at Lisi lake or Turtle Lake, but wear them if there are 5,7, 8 people around you and you are having a conversation. I'm telling you that there is no better way to defend. We want 25,000 people a day to be vaccinated; 30,000 would be even better," said Gamkrelidze.
