"Georgia has joined the Common Digital Covid Passport Area, which currently has 49 member countries. Accordingly, Covid certificates issued by Georgia on vaccination, the transmission of infection, and PCR testing will be included in this common space," Giorgi Ghibradze, the Chief of the Operational Staff of the Interagency Coordination Council, stated.
He explained how a citizen could get a Covid-certificate.
"Today, all the technical work related to the connection will be completed, and from tomorrow we will be fully involved in the unified system. To take advantage of this Covid Certificate, you can download the appropriate app called Georgia e-Health from the app store and google store, go through a fairly simple registration, and all the information related to our vaccinations, PCR testing, and covid-transfer will automatically appear on our phones. The application will show our QR codes, and we will be able to confirm our status," said Giorgi Ghibradze.
