The Art Palace of Georgia has been nominated for the ‘Best European Museum Award.' The jury session of the European Museum Forum(EMF/EMYA), one of the leading organizations in Europe for developing the public quality of European museums, was held in Portugal.
The EMF runs the most prestigious museum award in Europe and is an important occasion for promoting innovative approaches in the museum sector throughout the whole continent.
The EMYA (European Museum Year Award) was established under the aegis of the Council of Europe in 1977; it aims to popularize the museum collection and the country, as well as develop innovative processes in this field.
The winners of the EMYA are set to be announced and awarded on 2 May 2020, at the annual conference of the European Museum Forum (EMF) in the city of Cardiff, Great Britain.
