According to Beka Peradze, the head of the Labor Inspection Department, the information that the guests of the family-type apartments in Bakuriani were asked to leave the hotel is not true.
Peradze claims that the agency only checked private apartments' status and did not impose fines or other sanctions on them.
Peradze clarified once again that the regulations do not apply to family-type apartments.
"We are supervising not only in Bakuriani but throughout Georgia. This was one of the planned monitoring carried out in Bakuriani. We checked the status of several apartments to see if they had the status of a hotel. According to the relevant decree, the operation of the hotel is prohibited," Beka Peradze said.
