Ana Mikeladze, the spokesperson of the Central Election Commission, has resigned. She posted information about it on her Facebook page.
"I am no longer officially a CEC employee. We have to make difficult but important decisions in life, and of course, our actions must be in line with our values. Those who know me are well aware that while working at local or international organizations, as well as in the public sector, I have been guided only by principles of professionalism, justice, and honesty. I have always tried to make my contribution, even a small one, to our country's development. I want to thank each of my colleagues, partners, journalists, people with whom I have worked or been friends with for their cooperation," Ana Mikeladze wrote.
