According to the Minister of Health, Ekaterine Tikaradze, the circle of vaccine recipients has expanded in Georgia. Citizens over 55 will be able to get the coronavirus vaccine.
The decision was made at a meeting of the Vaccination Council, which ended a few minutes ago.
"The council has decided that we will add our citizens over the age of 55 to the vaccination group. This is due to the fact that we have observed interest and good activity among our citizens who are over 65, and also there was a great demand among those whose age ranges from 55 to 65," the Minister said.
