"Schools will resume work in Batumi, Zugdidi, Gori, Poti, and Telavi on February 1," Vice Prime Minister Maia Tskitishvili said after the meeting of the Coordination Council.
According to her, schools and transport will start working in Tbilisi, Rustavi, and Kutaisi from March 1.
Maia Tskitishvili stressed that since there are signs of alleviation of the epidemiological situation in some regions, there is an opportunity to alleviate the selective restrictions.
"As of today, there are certain restrictions in 8 big cities. We are constantly assessing the epidemiological situation.
Shops and shopping centers will resume operations in Tbilisi, Kutaisi, and Rustavi from February 1. We plan to restore the work of schools and, consequently, municipal transport from March 1.
Open and closed markets will resume work in all cities from February 15," Maia Tskitishvili said.
