Georgia's breakaway region of Abkhazia recorded 60 new cases of the novel coronavirus in a single day after 218 people were tested.
A total of 120 patients are now under treatment at the five COVID centers in the region, with 31 patients in critical condition.
The occupied region has so far registered 14,617 cases, 13,650 recoveries, and 222 deaths.
