Unless we have a vaccine, there is a high likelihood that coronavirus will hit us in winter again, according to Paata Imnadze, the deputy head of the National Center for Disease Control.
"I know that the public voiced concerns when we pointed this out, but this is precisely what scientists think worldwide. We cannot hope that the new coronavirus will just disappear. Unless we have an effective antiviral drug or a vaccine, with this being less likely, there is a high probability that the coronavirus will hit us again in winter. We should be ready for a worst-case scenario as it is better to be ready than be caught off guard," Imnadze declared.
