Currently, 15,216 people have been infected with the coronavirus in Georgia. Out of these, 4,040 people receive treatment in hospitals.
Reports say 771 people have severe diseases.
The condition of 137 people is critical. Patients are on ventilators.
“Today, 988 new cases of coronavirus infection were detected in the country, of which: in Tbilisi - 511 cases, in Adjara - 114, in Imereti - 84, in Kvemo Kartli - 31, in Shida Kartli - 33, in Guria - 19, in Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti - 94, in Kakheti - 45, in Mtskheta-Mtianeti - 45, in Samtskhe-Javakheti - 8, in Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti - 4.
At this stage, there are 15,216 active cases of coronavirus infection in the country, of which: 4,040 people are being treated in hospitals, including in hospitals in Tbilisi - 2,246 people, Adjara - 460, Imereti - 404.
At this stage, there are 771 severe patients in the country, incl. in Tbilisi - 379 people, Adjara - 84, Imereti - 100.
One hundred thirty-seven patients are on artificial lung ventilation devices: in Tbilisi - 91 people, Adjara - 12, Imereti - 8.
A total of 800 people are in clinical hotels, incl. in Tbilisi - 459 people, Adjara - 314.
As many as 10,376 people are under treatment at home,” the press service of the Georgian government said.
