According to the director of Tsitsishvili New Children Clinic, Davit Rekhviashvili, currently, 122 patients are being treated at Tsitsishvili Clinic. Seventeen of them are placed in the intensive care unit, two of which are in critical condition.
According to him, the source of infection of children is mainly unvaccinated parents.
"The number of visits to the clinic remains high. The clinic has 175 beds, and 122 of them are occupied. Seventeen patients are in the intensive care unit. The condition of the two patients is assessed critically severe, and they are connected to the apparatus. As we know, covid is no longer mild in children, and they have quite pronounced clinical symptoms. Only seven parents of the children placed in the clinic have been vaccinated," said Davit Rekhviashvili.
