Aiming at virus spread prevention and effective risk management, the public schools are accomplishing the disinfection of school buildings. The Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sport assigned the task to schools’ management. Ten different disinfection aids are used for the purpose.
The spring holidays are announced in Georgian schools from March 2 to last till March 16, instead of March 9-16. The period will be used to accomplish disinfection works recommended by the Ministry of Health. The Coordination Council headed by the Prime Ministers made this decision amid coronavirus infection. The time will be used to disinfect the schools.
It is noteworthy that the Minister of Education, Science, Culture, and Sport, Mikheil Chkhenkeli recommends high education institutes, professional colleges, and private schools to disinfect their buildings, respectively.
