The Prosecutor's Office arrested a police officer connected with a car accident near the village of Aragvispiri, resulting in the death of a minor.

The investigation established that on July 26, 2020, the inspector-investigator of the Dusheti District Division of the Mtskheta-Mtianeti Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, V.F., was driving while being drunk in the direction of Stepantsminda, near the village Aragvispiri and collided with a pedestrian, a minor L.Z., who died while being taken to the hospital.
The investigation launched under Article 276, Part 7 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, and all necessary investigative and procedural actions are being carried out.
