Giorgi Nioradze, the head of Public Relations at Evex Diagnostic Center, confirms that one of the five people with coronavirus diagnosed on March 5 worked in the building of the Evex headquarters, where several companies operate.
However, none of the Evex employees have the virus.
"I want to answer all the questions that journalists are asking me. The Evex Hospital staff does not have the coronavirus! Several companies are operating at our headquarters. There was one case where the patient got infected in Italy. The entire four-story office is being disinfected daily, everyone in contact with the infected person was identified, and they are in self-isolation," Giorgi Nioradze wrote on his Facebook page.
A total of nine coronavirus cases have been detected in the country so far.
