"By the end of January, we will be ready to receive the first batch of vaccine, which will be aimed at health professionals," said Deputy Health Minister Tamar Gabunia.
According to Gabunia, the goal of the healthcare sector is for the citizen of Georgia to receive a quality vaccine as soon as possible.
"By the end of January, we will be ready to receive the first batch of vaccine, which will be aimed at health professionals, as in all countries this is the first group to receive the vaccine, followed by people who are older and are under risk. Then gradually, of course, it will spread to other groups of the population. The goal for us today is for the citizen of Georgia to get a quality vaccine as soon as possible and for the country to follow the process of vaccination," Gabunia stated.
