Georgia coronavirus: Citizens enabled to receive information on COVID status

Giorgi Gibradze, Chief of the Operational Staff of the Interagency Coordination Council of Georgia, said that a special application https://covidpass.moh.gov.ge/ enabling citizens to receive information on their COVID status has started functioning.

''Citizens can determine their status via the application and share the status with other people if they deem this necessary. The status indicates that a person has undergone a complete vaccination course or has a valid PCR test result of not more than 72 hours, a valid rapid test result, or contracted coronavirus six months ago at the latest. In this case, the status is green and safe for everyone around.

Correspondingly, if citizens are obliged to determine the status and present it to others, the application enables them to do so,'' Ghibradze told Rustavi 2.
