"The land borders will open from June 1, and it will be possible to cross the border with a vaccination certificate and a negative PCR test, or only with a negative PCR test done in the last 72 hours," Giorgi Ghibradze, the Chief of the Operational Staff at the Interagency Coordination Council, stated about it at the briefing held at the Government Administration after the meeting of the Council.
"In this case, persons entering Georgia will be obliged to repeat the PCR test within the next 72 hours. At the same time, there is a recommendation that all visitors should have health insurance, which covers the costs related to Covid," Ghibradze said.
