Up to 10 graves got robbed in Shemokmedi Cemetery, Ozurgeti Municipality. Fragments of the fence and doors were taken.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs explained to report.ge that the investigation was launched under the second part of Article 258, which stipulates illegal possession of an item placed in the grave or on the grave and is punishable by a fine or house arrest for one to two years or imprisonment for up to two years.
