The group of experts formed by the Public Defender of Georgia, Nino Lomjaria, has issued the opinion on the issue of transferring ex-president Mikheil Saakashvili to a multi-profile clinic.
By the decision of the specialists, Mikheil Saakashvili must be taken to a multi-profile hospital.
“In view of the critical situation in which the patient is now, it is recommended that his treatment be urgently continued at a well-functioning multi-profile clinic with vast experience. Namely, he must be admitted to an intensive therapy unit offering services which No18 institution hospital cannot perform,’’ the opinion reads.
Nine doctors visited ex-president Mikheil Saakashvili in the Gldani penitentiary establishment yesterday.
