GYLA appeals to penitentiary service to stop releasing footage showing Saakashvili

The Georgian Young Lawyers' Association (GYLA) calls upon the special penitentiary service to respect the principle of inviolability of personal life and stop releasing video footage showing ex-president Mikheil Saakashvili.

''We appeal to the penitentiary service to stop releasing video footage showing Mikheil Saakashvili and wait for the State Inspector's Service to end studying the issue,'' the statement reads.

Today, the penitentiary service has released video footage showing ex-president Saakashvili being taken to the Gldani prison hospital.
