Georgian Health Minister Ekaterine Tikaradze says that she is against reducing curfew hours even for an hour.
In Tikaradze's words, the health ministry and epidemiologists have already made concessions by agreeing on the immediate removal of restrictions. "We made concessions we cannot afford," she stressed.
The minister regards reduced social mobility as effective leverage, which the country cannot afford to lose.
"We cannot afford this considering that case numbers are already increasing. I think that we will fail to reduce curfew hours for some time in the future, as by lifting restrictions, we increase risks," Tikaradze declared.
