“All patients, which have high temperature and pneumonia, are tested for coronavirus in Georgia,” – says the NCDC Deputy Director, Paata Imnadze.
Paata Imnadze says that the testing is available not only in “fever centre” and COVID 19 admission hospitals but also in all medical institutions and companies throughout the country territory.
“The country has its testing strategy, i.e. targeted testing and expansion of it in a certain period. All measures are taken step-by-step. It will start when it is justified epidemiologically. The targeted testing is usually productive. Extensive testing has its time and place and will be accomplished in its turn,” – said Imnadze.
