The Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Gharibashvili, has stated his position in the elections. He called on the population to take part in today's elections and vote.
According to the Prime Minister, he made a choice in favor of a stable country.
"I believe that today the people will make another wise decision and vote for the stability of the country.
And not this chaos, anxiety, unrest, and attempts at confrontation coming from the destructive opposition.
This is my wish, and I believe today we will all make the right choice together.
I believe that tomorrow will be better than today. We are committed to holding free, transparent elections.
This is very important for our future, our families, our children, and our country, most importantly.
We won the general, national elections, we got 47%, thus ending the speculations about possible early elections; as you know, the main slogan of the opposition was the referendum, and they lost this referendum. They also lost in 44 municipalities.
I strongly believe today we will win in all 20 municipalities," said Prime Minister Gharibashvili.
