As a result of the special operation, two foreigners are arrested. Police have confiscated 40 kg of narcotic drugs. The total cost of confiscated narcotics in the black market is several million GEL.
The arrested are the citizens of Bulgaria. The Internal Ministry claims the operation is of international importance.
Deputy Attaché of International Narcotic and Law Enforcement Affairs of the USA Justice Department Tbilisi Office, Mike Sutrov states that the success of the operation is the result of cooperation between Georgian and American parties.
