The main Christmas tree of the capital will be lit today, December 10, at 20:00, in front of the Parliament building.
Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze stated at the government session of the capital.
"The New Year is coming, a time everyone is looking forward to. A time full of hope, joy, and love. It has become a tradition to light the main Christmas tree in our capital. Unlike last year, when we were not able to hold a public event, this year we will hold a Christmas tree lighting event in front of the Parliament on Friday, December 10, and illuminate the whole city with New Year illuminations. I want to invite the people of our city to make wishes together. Nodariko Khutsishvili's band and group "Newton" will perform during the evening," Kakha Kaladze said.
