A male nurse has been sacked from Bokeria clinic in Tbilisi after he posted anti-vax statements on Facebook.
The clinic administration says that they denounce and distance themselves from the video address on behalf of the hospital spread today.
According to the statement by the clinic, the statement is unprofessional as the leading organizations worldwide recognize vaccination as the only tool for combatting the pandemic.
''Bokeria Referral Hospital voices concerns over the statement on behalf of the clinic, which is against vaccination in today's tough epidemiological situation globally. The clinic employee's move to denigrate medical personnel defining vaccination as the only tool against the pandemic is absolutely inadmissible,'' the statement by the clinic reads.
As the latest data have it, more than 432 vaccines have been administered in the country, with 144,000 citizens fully vaccinated.
