"Investigative measures carried out by the Ministry of Internal Affairs have established that on May 16, 2021, in Dmanisi, locals confronted each other and later turned the conflict into group violence. Police have identified participants in the controversy, and all necessary investigative and procedural actions are carried out within the framework of the investigation. In order to prevent confrontation in Dmanisi and artificial escalation of events, the Ministry of Internal Affairs employees are mobilized on the spot," the Ministry of Internal Affairs said.
