It is a day of mourning in Georgia. The country mourns the victims of the tragedy on May 26 Street in Batumi.
Flags were lowered at all administrative buildings, including the Government and Presidential Administrations, Parliament, and the Ministry of Internal Affairs, from 00:00 pm.
Memorial services for the victims will be held during the day.
On October 8, the entrance of a 7-story building collapsed in Batumi. Ten people got stuck in ruins. Nine of them got killed; 3 of them were children. A 37-year-old man is hospitalized.
