The National Center for Disease Control publishes a special booklet on the importance of vaccinating pregnant and lactating women against COVID-19.
According to the NCDC, the material was prepared in collaboration with the Ministry of Health, with the support of the United Nations Population Fund.
"Today, in the face of the Covid pandemic, vaccination of pregnant and lactating mothers is very important.
This booklet provides answers to the most frequently asked questions and recommendations based on evidence from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in the United Kingdom and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in the United States. The booklet was prepared by the Ministry of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occupied Territories, Labor, Health and Social Affairs of Georgia with the support of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and National Center for Disease Control and Public Health," the center said in a statement.
