The Government of Georgia has released information saying that in January of 2021, pensions increased in Georgia.
"Pensioners aged under 70 will receive GEL 240, with the amount increased by GEL 20, and pensioners over 70 will get GEL 275 (GEL 25 more than the existing amount).
Senior citizens residing in high mountainous regions will get GEL 288 from 2021, and those over 70, GEL 330.
In 2020, pension grew by GEL 20 and by GEL 50 for pensioners over 70.
Pensions are now set to rise annually, according to the information by the government.
