"As for the second wave, the world predicts that, like all respiratory viruses, it could activate once again in the fall," the head of the National Center for Disease Control and Public Health stated at a briefing at the government administration.
According to Amiran Gamkrelidze, the virus can activate with cold weather, depending on the zone.
"As you know, respiratory viruses are mainly active from the second half of October, and coronavirus may activate together with the flu. However, a certain group of scientists think that the virus gradually reduces its aggressiveness," Gamkrelidze said.
