Presidential Administration issues statement on Patriarchate's motion

The Presidential Administration has released a statement on the issue of pardoning Deacon Giorgi Mamaladze, with the statement being presented below: 

"With regard to the motion by the Patriarchate for pardoning Deacon Giorgi Mamaldze, The Presidential Administration once again considers necessary to specify that it received the motion for parole by the Patriarchate of Georgia on November 8 of the current year. Hereby, the Administration says that all speculations on this issue saying that pressure is being exerted on the President of Georgia is not close to the truth. The convict related cases are being discussed in compliance with the new parole procedure," the statement says.
