Six shepherds and cattle are stranded on the so-called island created due to Mtkvari River’s flooding as severe rains hit the Shida Kartli region.
They are stuck near the Kvakhvreli village.
Rescuers are trying to help them.
As the Emergency Management Service told report.ge, the shepherds are all well. The water level monitoring is underway.
