Starting March 1, Tbilisi City Hall is open to receiving applications for funding the spring semester of the 2020-2021 academic year for socially disadvantaged students.
Reports say the funding for the students has increased. It will be provided to Tbilisi-registered students with families having a rating of 150,000 points or less.
The points are available in the Unified Database of Socially Vulnerable Families.
The state funding covers tuition fees in state-authorized higher educational institutions at bachelor's, master and doctoral studies.
