State Minister Tea Akhvlediani got the second dose of coronavirus vaccine in Telavi during her working visit to the Kakheti region and called on the population to vaccinate.

"The only way to overcome Covid infection today is vaccination, and that is why for the safety of myself and those around me, today I am receiving the second dose in Telavi, Kakheti region as part of my regional working visit. Today, our children are the most vulnerable if we do not prevent infection through vaccination, as young children are not known to be vaccinated yet, and an increasing number of them are infected. Therefore, I want to call on the Georgian society to take care of each other and the safety of our children," Tea Akhvlediani said.

The State Minister also received a Covid card at the Telavi House of Justice, which can be obtained free of charge by anyone who has been vaccinated twice, with a QR code confirming the vaccine. The document is available in all branches throughout Georgia.

During the visit of the State Minister to the Kakheti region, the local population and ethnic minorities will be provided with information materials on vaccination in their native languages.
