The Mayor of Tbilisi visited Lilo settlement, where he got acquainted with the construction of the swimming pool.
The pool near the public school N107 was the request of the population on the territory of the sports center.
According to Kakha Kaladze, Tbilisi City Hall is implementing many projects to promote a healthy lifestyle. The Mayor of Tbilisi thinks that the swimming pool will be ready in June.
The sports complex will serve about 500 children in different sections, as for the swimming pool, 200 children will be able to use it.
"There was a great demand for this project. We promised the locals that we would do this. We plan to build multifunctional centers in the future, including one in Didi Digomi. We already have the project and will begin to work on it in the next few days," the Mayor of Tbilisi said.
