According to the Deputy Minister of Health of Georgia, Tamar Gabunia, more than 60 percent of the adult population in Tbilisi has been vaccinated.
"Vaccination rates are quite good in some regions. Tbilisi is leading. More than 60 percent of the adult population in Tbilisi is covered. However, the same cannot be said for other regions," said Tamar Gabunia.
According to her, the pace of vaccination has been alarming and more action has been needed in recent days.
